Devin Fox the first male artist from Ark Music Factory. I wasn’t sure what to expect because I never heard the full song before, just a snippet of it, but I must say it is fresh and hot. I am sure there are going to be a lot of Haters out there because he worked with Ark Music Factory, but keep striving for success young dude. The video looks great, the song sound good, the lyrics are well written… How can you hate on this. Seriously, not being sarcastic, I really believe it is a nice song.

The review says
“How can you hate on this. Seriously, not being sarcastic, I really believe it is a nice song.”
let me break it down for you…
For one, the song is over produced, there isn’t enough realism in the music.
Second, every song recorded by ark has something called ‘Autotune’ which to any real musician is basically a way of saying ‘i can’t do it, so lets fake it’ How is that supposed to be recreated in a live performance?
The answer? it isn’t. autotune should only be used in song remixes. there’s a difference between sampling and faking it.
I could say alot more but i feel i’ve said more than enough in return to the question quoted
I agree, Kenal. Devin definately has a good set of pipes. Most of the Ark singers do. However, Ark Music Factory does not write lyrics very well. For example, in Hooked On You, it says, “Your lips are so soft. It shines like the stars up above.” Okay…are the lips shining? no, because he says “it” is shining. What is it? Ark assumes that song producing is easier than it is. It takes talent to write a song, and crowds are going to settle for “gotta have my bowl, gotta have cereal.” My advice to REbecca Blak and Devin Fox is to get out of Ark asap and find a good song singwriter or write their own songs. Chances are it’ll be tenfold better than Ark’s lyrics. No offense Pato.
At last, an honest review of the song that does not focus on any of the following – The fact he is with Ark, his hair colour, the penny he gives the girl, the fact he is male, young and singing and therefore MUST be trying to be Bieber.
And to the commenter above referring to autotune – WAKE UP, every recorded artist uses autotune to some degree.. Friday was plastered with it but this is not. Check out Devins own youtube account and see that his voice is actually very good without autotune.
I really love this song, I’m from Brazil and hoping to make it a great success!
The lyrics are well-written? You can’t be serious man. It’s beyond obvious that “lyrics” if you even want to call them that are the last thing on Ark’s mind when they make songs. They find a young kid with a decent (I’m being nice) voice and they have him sing something they jotted down most likely while on the toilet to an overproduced, auto-tuned beat that sounds exactly like any other pop song out there. What about this even makes it remotely close to good or original in any way? I could honestly get a keyboard, hook it up to my computer, download a free sound kit and make this exact same piece of crap song with better lyrics. “All OVer all OVer the WER erld.” That whole chorus is so awful. The only reason these artists even get any publicity at all is because Ark is so notoriously bad. Before Rebecca Black NO ONE knew who Ark or any of their crappy kid artists were, and for good reason. Ark is trying to show off their “skills” at producing music and taking advantage of the fact that young “talent” generates views. Music is a business to them, not an art. They suck all the art out of it, actually. People don’t hate things for the sake of hating them… They dislike them because they’re so blatantly bad that they have no choice. And that, in short, is how you could hate on this.
Yeah, I can relate to those lyrics. I really have to focus with my friends. I mean, seriously! It’s awful! Her lips shine like the stars from above? Her beautiful green eyes stare at him? It’s all you can do not to look away! It’s awful. Ark Music Factory is exploiting young people and making them think that they have talent, when truthfully, they can’t even hit the right note about 90% of the time.
By the way, Ann, you spelled “definitely” wrong. If you’re going to argue a point, at least make sure your spelling is correct.
