I would like to believe that my perception of love resembles God’s view and definition of true love. Each day that goes by I believe one should walk with love in their heart and in their mind because love conquers all. It conquers darkness, sadness, fear and evil. When a nation experiences an act of terror or a national disaster it generally gathers together and for a period of time there is a lot of love and positive light flowing around, but it never last. That meaning that expression of care and love was only triggered by a circumstance or crisis.

The love I am talking about which is God’s love is like no other. It is not ever conditional because even God’s love towards mankind is not based on whether we chose to believe in him or not. God loves everyone for he created everyone; he may not like what we do sometimes because we sin, we fall, we hurt others and even can be quite evil towards others. Even with all this knowledge and full understanding of us, God still loves us.

The song “Proof Of Your Love” by For King & Country is about our lives reflection God’s love. How do we do that and why would we carry love in our heart daily someone might ask. The answer being is because God Himself is love.

I believe in something as simple as God being birthed as a human (Jesus) was a way for him to redeem humanity of their sins with a pure and holy sacrifice being Christ Himself dying on the cross. I think it only makes sense because when one is willing to die for others that is one of the greatest acts of love and self-less acts one could do for anyone. To think of the possibility of a God coming down as a human being to offer himself as a living sacrifice to save the world is beyond profound. It is so simple, but difficult for a lot to accept and believe to be true.

Born in Sydney, Australia and relocating with their family to Nashville, TN, Joel and Luke remember music being a constant presence in their life. Growing up in a large family of seven kids, the siblings began their creative experimentation early on, soaking up life experiences that would influence their musical future.
