Soul, Class and Musical demonstration is what Austin Brown represents as well as deliver through his all of the music that he releases. The 27-year-old musician, singer, and songwriter currently located in Los Angeles, California over the past few years have really been getting a lot of ground work done . The influencing figures that have inspired the talented artist include music greats and legends Prince, George Michael and Michael Jackson. On his website the musician credits his father Nathaniel as the driving force behind his early musical education, and while Nathaniel admits to paying for piano lessons, he says music was always on Austin’s mind. Growing in basically a family line of royalty Austin learned much discipline and was well brought up by his parents. He is a very entertaining live music performer and vocalist with a dynamic range. Though approaching the age of 30 and recently just being truly exposed to the spotlight the artist have penned many songs for musicians as a ghost-writer.

Released in November from his music project and free mixtape Highway 85 “City Of Angels” is a very soulful and full of funk tune. The vocal performance by Austin Brown on the song is nothing less than what true Rhythm and Blues should be. Brown is indeed a product and result of a child growing up in a true musical environment. Following listening to his mixtape among my favorite songs from his promoted album is a song entitled “All I Need” which featured rap musician and producer David Banner. The song is among my favorite from his music project because it is uptempo and standout showing a variety besides the sweet and soulful sound that Brown brings as a natural musician.

Coming from a generation of great musicians the Jackson 5, Michael Jackson, and Janet Jackson the roots of music run deep in this artist’s soul.
