Fashion Art Collection Composed by Kenal
The following fashion art piece is the first that I have created in 2013 inspired by fashion designer Dan Richters, which the artwork is also named after. Dan Richters is also a multi-talented artist who practice various mediums and execute his work extraordinarily well. From fashion, painting, drawing, design, and photography Dan Richters is another one of the rare modern day renaissance man left that I have had the opportunity to meet.
Though I have not had the chance to really talk to Dan and interview him regarding his works as well as his thought process behind every work, I still respect his superb creative ability. The photographs below were used as reference for the composed piece. The design from the fall 2012 collection of Avant-Garde the fashion designer was worn well by model and also a very talented photographer by the name of Abbie Leigh.
Entitled “Abstraction De Richters Numero Deux” the piece is the second piece that I have created from the Dan Richters fashion design collection.

Again represented by Abbie Leigh from the Omaha Fashion Week 2012 fall Avant-Garde collection the design looked like something that would be worn in the year 2150 A.D. by a stunning woman that was attending a futuristic club, ball or upscale event. Whenever I think of Avant-Garde I think of something beyond post-modern in relation to fashion. The term itself meaning before or advance censor/protect/guard and is also regarded to as something innovative as well as experimental accepted by viewers.

Being featured and cast for many fashion shows is something that surely is deep in this beautiful and creative model’s portfolio. As Abbie Leigh made her way down the runway during the fall fashion show, which was held at Kaneko in Omaha she stunned the crowd. She looked fierce, bold and strong in the unique Avant-Garde design for an amazing set created by Dan Richters.
