With a recently released EP leading the year of 2013 as one of the primary music projects for Madame So she looks to bring a sound to music that is only heard at the coolest rock, poetic and soulful funk lounges.

As a person that love music from many genres ranging from Rock, Pop, R&B, Neo-Soul and Folk I found her music to be unique. Not much of what the major mainstream industry embrace as it once used to, but the sound is still musical and refreshing.

Having inspiration from the Hole, The Lemonheads, The Vaccines, Patti Smith, and Tracy Chapman; Madame So brings her own essence though her music.

Her music she describes as lyric-led guitar pop and has been likened to Hole, Patti Smith and Polaris, among others. With having been featured on sites such as Afro-Punk as making “sincerely bizarre but bizarrely catchy indie pop”, in Rockinglicious as “bringing a throwback to Hole and Polaris, with her own tint of lyrics and a voice smooth like melting sugar” as well as others.

According to her website Madame So is a Paris-born/London-based singer-songwriter. She makes lyric-led guitar pop that has been likened to Hole, Blondie, Patti Smith, Polaris and Tracy Chapman. Originally a music writer, she takes the plunge as a musician as of winter 2011, performing solo acoustic sets across the cities of London, Amsterdam and her native Paris. Her music site goes on to mention that in the summer of 2012, she starts recording her debut,’The Sell-by Date EP’, with members of the alternative bands Paintings of Ships and Tony Black & The Collectors. The result is four really melodic tracks, including the favorite ‘Sell-by Date’ and ‘Dig Deeper’, that generate high interest in Europe and the States.
